| Ms Kimberlee J. Benart is
a retired Civil Engineer. She worked in Federal civil service for over 35 years as an engineer and manager,
primarily with the United States Air Force. She is also a former Peace Corps
Volunteer (Civil Engineer) for the Palau Islands (now Republic of Belau). She
received numerous awards and recognition during her federal career, culminating with
the Air Force Civilian Career Service Award medal. Ms Benart is also an artist, writer, farmer, and charity advocate.
She graduated from Virginia Tech in 1975 with a BS in Civil Engineering. She is married to research mathematician, Peter O.
Sagay.
